Christmas 2012

Happy 2013!
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
A couple nights before Christmas, Landon joined the neighborhood children and went caroling. He was so happy and had a great time!
On Christmas Eve, Ollie headed back to the North Pole with Santa. Before he left, he wrote Landon a little poem (that I found on Pinterest, here) and a new pair of pajamas.
I made Santa a yummy treat (I found the recipe here) and we left them with some milk...
right by the fireplace so Santa wouldn't miss them. Landon enjoyed eating the leftover cookies! ;-)
Santa came!
I guess we have been a very good family this year. Lots of presents for Landon and a special family trip to Maui this summer. Woo hoo!
Landon's stocking
After heading straight to his playhouse, then through the tunnel and into his tent, Landon started opening the presents in his stocking.
Opening presents and drinking his breakfast shake. (Curious to know what kind of shake? Well, since Landon turned two, Mike has been making him a morning shake with kale, broccoli, a carrot, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, a frozen banana, yogurt, coconut milk and orange juice. Sounds delicious, right?...Well, not so much to me...but Mike and Landon love it!)
"Hi, Merry Christmas!"
You might not have noticed this in the other picture, but please meet Nibbles, our newest little furry friend.
"Hi Nibbles."
Nibbles mostly likes to sleep...and eat. She has made her nest at the very top (in the blue section).

Landon likes to pretend things are drums, so we thought we better get him a "real" drum.
It was too cute...while watching the Rose Parade on New Year's Day, Landon would join along whenever he saw a marching band. Mike and I were instructed to play instruments from his puzzle that Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bengt gave him. It's too bad that somebody wasn't videotaping us...it would have been pretty funny!
The boys
I actually got in a photo...woot woot! :-)
And last but not least, Landon got an early Christmas present...a Lightning McQueen bed. I can't believe he moved from a crib, to a toddler bed and now a big boy bed!?! It is crazy how quickly time flies!
Much love from our family to yours! xoxo
