Christmas 2015

Mmm-Hmm... I'm a year behind. I can own it.
Merry Christmas, 2015 style!
The festivities began with Ollie's return...
He brought Landon a Star Wars Lego Advent calendar. Ollie must know how much Landon loves Star Wars...and Legos. Such a smart little elf!

Our lovely (and yummy!) gingerbread house creation.
We joined in our neighborhood party. I was in charge of bringing some drinks for the kiddos.

The adults chatted and the children watched a movie at Mr. Joe's house.

Christmas Eve excitement filled the air! We made cookies for Santa and put out carrots for his reindeer.
Time to say goodbye to Ollie...
and give him a little smooch.
Someone jolly visited and filled the room with cheer.
Stockings are stuffed...
and milk, cookies, and carrots have disappeared.
Landon and his love of kitties...so happy!
 Time to open presents...

Landon made this gift for us at kindergarten.
This adorable ornament was inside (it has a photo of him on the back).
Peanut must have been a very good hamster.
May our little Peanut RIP! :-/
Spoiled little hamster...playing with the grandmas and talking to Whiskers (Landon's name for his cat).
Reindeer antlers Landon made at school. One day, he came home with antlers on his head and his nose painted red...it was too cute!
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Santa 2015

Ho ho ho! Christmas 2015, when Landon was 5 (and a half) years old. As my friend reminded me today, Christmas 2016 will be here in 44 days, so I better get back to some blogging.

When I came across this pic, I was amazed. You should see Landon's writing now!?! Crazy what can happen in just a few short months at this age.
Here is a current pic of our little cutie! 6 1/2 years old.
More pics from last year's Christmas to come shortly...

Soccer 2015

Landon's second season of AYSO soccer with Coach Daddy. This season, they were called The Jedi. The team consisted of 7 little, yet mighty, Jedis. It was fun knowing some of Landon's teammates: his BFF Kellen, Vincent from last season's soccer team, and Evan from his baseball team. It was also great to see how much the children improved from last season. Just one year can make quite a difference!

  I

Auntie Nancy was here for a visit and got to watch a game. Yippee!
Just hangin' out, sittin' on some soccer balls.

Someone was having a good time. Too cute!
 Enjoying an after game treat.
Our neighbors, Chloe and Ellie, asked Mike if they could put in some volunteer hours for school and referee a couple games. Landon loved it!

Landon incorporating some ballet moves into his game.
Some team building with Coach Daddy.

High fives with the other team members after the game.
 The 7 Jedis.
Our end of the season party on our cul-de-sac.

Season 2 of soccer done and season 3 has already begun. Oh my...how did I get so behind!?!
