Where did the time go? I can't believe it will be Christmas in just a few days!?!
From our family to yours, we would like to wish you a joyful holiday filled with wonderful memories.
This year, Landon was very excited to visit Santa and give him his Christmas list. His list included: "the Nemo movie, a purple choo choo and books."
"Hmmm...maybe I would like more than just 3 things..."
"Oh yes, a candy cane would be perfect! Thank you Santa!"
Earlier this month, Landon received a special delivery...
all the way from the North Pole!
Someone was very intrigued with this fancy box.
Inside the box was an elf named Ollie and a letter from Santa.
[Some of you may be familiar with the book, The Elf On The Shelf: A Christmas Tradition. Well, Santa sends out some elves to visit children from December 1st to Christmas Eve. Each night, the elf heads back to the North Pole and reports to Santa on the child's behavior (That's how Santa makes his Nice/Naughty lists). When the elf returns each morning, he/she is hiding in a new spot. Okay, so I tweaked some things here and there, but I am keeping to the story...more or less (i.e. Since Landon is only 2, I named the elf, I let Landon touch the elf, etc.]
Landon was excited to meet Ollie and
read Santa's letter. He even gave Ollie a little smooch.
(I tried to make Santa's letter as authentic as I could- fancy stationery, font, Santa signature and I even burned the edges. It's a good thing Landon can't read yet, as it said 49 cents on the back of the paper...haha ;-)

Here are a few of the things Ollie has been up to...
Getting some treats from Landon's potty training gumball machine.
Hangin' out in Landon's stocking.
Enjoying some popcorn with his morning cartoons.
Writing Landon a message.
Playing with Landon's cars.
Landon liked this one. He asked, "What Ollie doing with my cars?"
Reading a Christmas story to Landon's stuffed animals.
So far, this has been Landon's favorite. He said, "Wow, amazing! Why they all gather round?" I said, "It's storytime! Ollie is reading to your animals." So, Landon plopped himself right down to listen along. Seriously, he is too cute!!! Ollie has also been found in our Christmas tree, hanging from the light above our kitchen table, sleeping in our bed, and even zip lining across our family room. Silly Ollie!
And here is my random pic...
Landon and his buddies eating ice cream from the ice cream truck in the middle of December (only in Southern California!?!).
