A Fun Day At The Park

Auntie Terri gave Landon a quilt, which inspired an outing to the park. Landon and I went to the Laguna Niguel Regional park to enjoy a quiet, relaxing afternoon. It was fun listening to the leaves rustle from the gentle wind, birds singing and people laughing and chatting in the distance. Next time, we will have to bring Daddy to join in on the fun!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there! Next weekend is going to be busy for me, so we decided to celebrate Father's Day this Saturday instead. Our celebration began at the Brig Restaurant in Dana Point Harbor. We enjoyed a yummy lunch and some good company. Afterwards, we went for a LONG walk around the harbor (yup, we all got our exercise and no one needed to go to the gym when they got home). It was a great day to celebrate Father's Day at our new local hang out. ;)
Here we are sitting on the patio of the Brig Restaurant. Mike's Mom and brother are on the left and my parents are on the right.
After lunch we stopped at a picnic table to eat some delicious cake, feed Landon and take some pictures. I hope you enjoy the pictures of our family photo shoot below...
Gammy got Mike and Landon matching outfits. Don't they look so cute?
Happy Father's Day Dad! You're the best!
Landon, his Dad and Grandpa all hangin' out.
My "peeps"
Mike's "peeps"
This is one of Landon's favorite ways to be carried by his Dad (although it doesn't really look like it... hmmm, I wonder if they make baby sunglasses because Landon seems to be squinting in all the pictures :)
"Hey, this Uncle Mitchy guy is pretty fun!"
I threw in one extra picture...I think I'll add it to Landon's modeling portfolio (hee hee ;)

Dana Point Harbor

On Friday, Mike and I took Landon to Dana Point Harbor for a wonderful afternoon outing. We walked around, had a picnic lunch and enjoyed the sights. It was so much fun that we went back on Saturday. Saturday was our 11 year wedding anniversary. I can't believe it's already been 11 years! How exciting to expand our family with a beautiful bundle of joy! In this picture, Mike and Landon are in front of the statue of Richard Henry Dana, Jr. Landon is snoozing. :)
In the background you can see the Ocean Institute. I have been there on a couple of field trips with my first grade friends. The children loved it and I can't wait to take Landon there when he's a little older!
Landon woke up for some lunch and a snuggle.
Some male bonding time. :)
A kiss from Mom.
P.S. This is what Landon is doing under the blanket. We like to keep him covered so he sleeps peacefully and the sun doesn't shine in his eyes. ;)
I can't believe how many cute, little squirrels are running around the harbor.
I made friends with one of the squirrels (not really... he thought I had some food for him... sorry little guy!)
Here are a couple extra pictures. This is one of my favorites! Mike and I giggle every time we look at it.
Landon's smile is contagious! (yup, I bet you just smiled)
