Landon's First Tooth!

Sometime during the night, Landon's first tooth popped through. Yahoo! I knew it was going to happen soon (he has been drooling a lot and wanting to chew on everything in sight). Here he is in the afternoon after a yummy bowl of oatmeal cereal. He is chewing on his frozen teething toy. Tomorrow morning, Landon has his 6 month visit with his pediatrician, so the timing couldn't be more perfect!

Landon is on the move!

Just so you know, Landon started out ON the activity mat. For the past few days, he has been scooting around. He actually scoots backwards...it's so cute! He tries really hard to crawl forward, so I'm sure it won't be too long now?? I can't believe how quickly Landon is growing. He is almost 6 months old...yikes!

Too funny!

Yesterday afternoon while Landon was jumping in his Jumperoo, I decided to put a few things away. Well, I had my camera in my hand (just putting it away, not planning on taking a picture), Landon saw it and started giving me the biggest smiles. Of course, I had to snap a few shots of his cute little face. It's too funny that he already knows he should smile for the camera! LOVE those dimples!

First Foods

Almost two weeks ago, Landon had his first solid food...rice cereal.
"This is interesting. What are we doing Mommy and Daddy?"
"Oh, I'm not so sure about this!"
"I suppose it's not too bad."
"Hey, I'm really starting to like this stuff!"
"It's yummy!"
"This doesn't look too hard. I can probably feed myself."
"Oh boy, something new to eat!"
"Hmmm, I don't know about this stuff my Mommy calls peas."

A Walk To The Park

It was a much cooler day today, so Mike and I took Landon for a walk to the park. We enjoyed a yummy picnic dinner and some fun playtime.

More Pool Fun!

Grandpa and Grandma got Landon a new pool toy. It's fabulous! Landon can kick around in the water and I have my hands free to snap some pics. :)
I love how he was playing with his feet in the water. He also enjoyed watching a couple little girls swimming around us.
He's actually smiling in this picture (you can see it in his eyes).
I picked up a helper along the way to the pool.
As I was walking to the pool, I heard a "beep, beep" behind me. It was Gammy driving by. I'm sure she got a good giggle when she saw us. I told her it must look like we were straight out of a movie (a comedy, of course!). There I was in my big floppy hat, little bathing suit cover-up, Landon's floatie in one hand and the stroller in the other. All I was missing was a pair of high heels...haha. Well, Gammy was nice enough to meet us at the pool and offer a helping hand. I told her she needs to wear her bathing suit the next time. ;)
"Hi everyone! Did you know that I am already 5 months old?"
