The craziness continues...

Last week the painters finished painting the outside of our house and started painting the inside. Thankfully, we had the weekend off to relax a little. So, yesterday, Gammy, Mike, Landon and I went to Fashion Island for some fun, shopping and yummy food.
Landon was trying to get in the fountain while Gammy was in Starbucks.
"Ooh, a bigger fountain. I wonder who will help me get up there?"
"Oh yes, of course my Daddy will!"
This little boy really liked Landon. His Mom had to bribe him with ice cream to get him off the fountain and away from Landon. :)
"Hi little fishies!"
P.S. Mike is holding Landon from the back. The security guard said that two little children had fallen into the pond in just the last half hour...yikes!
Such a cutie pie! How did he get so big?
"I think I can climb up this fountain. Okay, I guess I need some help."
"Daddy, can we put a fountain like this in our backyard?"

What a day!

If you would have driven by our house today, you might think it looked like a "three-ring circus." The front yard is ripped out, the backyard is ripped out, a bunch of workers were busy with noisy machinery, trucks and people were coming and going, and our house is decorated with lovely paint samples as we try to figure out what color we like best. We also had someone install plantation shutters on our two windows in the hallway above our stairs (as these were the only two windows in the whole house without any window coverings). To top it off, during Landon's second nap (not sure how he even got one nap today, let alone two!?!), Mike and I heard some really loud noise. I looked out the back and it wasn't coming from there, I looked out the front and it wasn't coming from there, I looked out the side window and our neighbor was cutting down the fence between our two houses. What!?! As if there wasn't enough going on already...AND right in the middle of Landon's nap? Just so you know, the fence was leaning toward our neighbor's side, and I guess he figured today was a good day to fix it...haha. Here's the funniest part...Normally, Mike takes Landon outside to play while I make dinner, but tonight Mike was helping our neighbor with the fence. So, I turned the TV on (Disney channel) and let Landon play with his toys and watch TV. I was busy making dinner and listening to Landon play, when it suddenly got rather quiet. I looked up and this is what I saw...
It was so funny that I burst out laughing! Landon had climbed into his baby bathtub (which has suddenly become his new favorite toy), turned it toward the TV and was watching a show with Elmo and some other toys that he had pulled inside the tub with him.
Of course I ran over there with a pillow to tuck behind his head and a camera in my hand! I also got Daddy to come and take a peek at our cutie pie!

The Zoo

Mike and I had a great day today celebrating our anniversary! First, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Cinnamon Productions in Ladera Ranch. Then, we took our little monkey to the Santa Ana Zoo. Last, we had a yummy BBQ dinner in our backyard.
We're off to explore the zoo!
Landon was fascinated with Noah, the camel, so we just had to take him for a ride.
Landon loved it so much, that when the ride was over, he tried to run back to Noah to get another ride. :)
We took a train ride around the farm section of the zoo. All aboard!
Ready to see some animals!
Mommy is feeding the goats and Landon is trying to touch them.
Landon thought it was too funny!
Landon and Mike are off on a safari to explore the rest of the zoo's wildlife. "Hold on Dad, I'll get us out of this mess! Let's head over to see the monkeys."
