Summer Fun!

We hope you are having a fun-filled summer!
Here are a few highlights of our exciting summer adventures.
For the 4th of July, we participated in our annual Ladera Ranch parade, neighborhood block party and fireworks show.

Don't you just love Landon's superhero stance?
Every time I look at this picture, I can't believe how tall he is getting!

All ready to head down to the parade.

Hi everyone!
Someone couldn't wait for the fireworks to start.
Yahoo!
(Fuzzy enjoyed the fireworks show too...heehee).
Landon was super tired and said, "I can't wait to go snuggle in my comfy and cozy bed!"
The rest of the pictures are of us having fun around town and in the 'hood.
Celebrating a preschool friend's 5th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese.
Who would have thought a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese would be so fun!? Landon had a blast!
The boys of the 'hood.
The girls of the 'hood.
Landon loves playing with his friends Ethan and Sarah.

Landon playing with our new neighbor, Beckett.
Landon jumping super high on Rhett's (the boy in red) trampoline.
While Mike and Landon were at the Ladera Ranch water park, they ran into our neighbor Chloe (pictured center) and her cousin.
Mike and Landon love to visit Gaga and swim in her pool.
Landon and I visited the Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Beach. They rescue, rehabilitate and release sea lions and seals along the OC coast. It depends when you visit the center, but during our visit, they had about 70 sea lions and a couple of seals. Although it's a small center, I enjoyed the educational aspect.
Visiting Grandpa and Grandma in Seal Beach.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch, some shopping down Main Street and a walk to the ocean.
Showing great Auntie Nancy some of his soccer skills.
Getting ready for soccer season to start next month.
This morning, as Landon was kicking a pretend soccer ball all over the kitchen, he said, "I am going to be a soccer star!"
Love this adorable little guy SO much!
Be sure to stay tuned for more soccer pics next month... ;-)

Happy Easter!

Yes, you read that correctly. I'm sure you did a double take when you read the title, but it seems that I am a holiday behind. So, here are some super adorable Easter pics that I just couldn't skip over. Enjoy!
Landon was looking forward to getting his picture taken with the Easter Bunny this year.
One day, while Mike was at work, Landon and I went to the "Easter Eggstravaganza" at Irvine Regional Park. We rode the train a couple times, ate lunch, decorated an Easter cookie and visited the Orange County Zoo.

Landon wanted to measure himself. He said, "Mommy, I guess I am back to 3 years old." Oh my...this cutie pie cracks me up.
This was a small zoo, but the perfect size since there were so many things to do at the park.
On Saturday, April 12th, we joined the Spring Celebration at Founder's Park (in Ladera Ranch). Landon had a great time collecting Easter Eggs at the "Egg Scramble."
All ready to go!

He was speedy quick and collected a whole basketful of eggs. His favorite treat was a tootsie roll.
Having fun popping bubbles at the bubble station.

Time to dye eggs!
I love watching Landon try to be so neat and careful. (He is not a big fan of messy things).

Almost done...
...just need to add a few stickers.
Easter morning!
The Easter Bunny left a trail of plastic eggs from Landon's room all the way downstairs to his Easter basket. He was SO excited! He talked about the trail of eggs for a number of days after Easter had passed.
Landon enjoyed his Easter surprises, but his MOST favorite treat was...
...Fuzzy. Yes, please meet Fuzzy. I'm sure you will see him pop up in a number of future pictures. Not only does Landon sleep with him every night, but he has been all over town. Seriously, he has been to Target, Trader's, preschool, Roger's Gardens...you name it...Fuzzy has been there. Consequently, Fuzzy isn't very "fuzzy" anymore. Haha ;-)
And, the search is on!
Landon loves telling jokes. So, the Easter Bunny hid jokes in some of the eggs. Mike was reading one of the jokes in this picture. I think Landon's favorite joke was, "What is a pirate's favorite letter? Rrrrr."
Landon found the golden egg.
(I know it looks green, but it was gold on the outside).
Woohoo...there was money in it!

Checking out his loot...eggs, candy, jokes and money. A success!
Okay, I know I am behind, so I will be sure to post more current pics in the next couple of weeks.
