Ever since we moved to Ladera Ranch, Mike has enjoyed riding his bike along the local trails. For Christmas, he got a new mountain bike and a bunch of gear for his biking adventures. He always comes back saying how beautiful the trails are, so one day, Landon and I joined him on an exploration. It was amazing how a quick hike could lead us to this gorgeous place where we were surrounded by tall oak trees, and the peaceful sounds of running water filled the air. How could we be so close to the hustle and bustle of the city, yet so far away?!
We have already decided to join Daddy again in the spring for a nature hike and picnic lunch. (And, of course, Landon wants to jump in the cool creek water ;-).
