Pumpkin City

Fall is one of our favorite seasons! We get excited about the change in weather, approaching holidays and fun activities that lie ahead. So far, we have already celebrated Landon's half birthday (can you believe he's 18 months!?!) and visited the pumpkin patch...twice. Also, this weekend we are going to the pumpkin festival in Ladera Ranch and in the next couple weeks we will visit Tanaka Farms, celebrate Mike's birthday and go trick-or-treating on Halloween.
While Mike was away on a business trip in Colorado, Gammy and I took Landon to Pumpkin City in Laguna Hills.
Since we went during the week, it wasn't very crowded and Landon got to wander around wherever he wanted.
"Woohoo, this is fun!"
Of course Landon wanted to go on the tractor (and didn't really want to get off...haha).
I wanted to take Landon on the pony ride, but thought I better wait for Daddy. So, when Mike returned from his trip, we went back to the pumpkin patch...yippee!
"Hi goats."
"Hi little piggies."
Oh yes, the pony ride. Mike walked alongside Landon during the ride.
Totally adorable!
Landon seemed to like it and waved to me when he went by.
"Hi Mommy."
Okay, here's a totally random (but totally cute) picture of Landon and uncle Mitchie exploring sea creatures at the Long Beach Aquarium. Yep, Gammy, uncle Mitchie, Landon and I were having more fun while Mike was away in Colorado.
And since I'm adding random pictures, I thought I would throw this one in. I should have added it to my last post of pictures around our house while under construction. Landon found a secret spot behind our built-in barbecue to dig in the dirt with Daddy's shovel. Seriously, how cute is this?
